CASACV Coronavirus Update

In response to the current Coronavirus situation, we are continuing to support clients, families and professionals. We acknowledge that this is a time of great uncertainty which can bring up strong feelings, and we are here to support those seeking assistance for impacts of sexual violence.

For the foreseeable future, we will continue to offer counselling and support via Telephone and Zoom, and limited Face to Face sessions with safe distancing and health screening protocols in place.

We are also continuing to deliver important professional knowledge and capacity building via Telephone and Zoom.

You can find information and useful advice on the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) website including groups that are at higher risk of infection, ways to reduce risk of coronavirus, and symptoms of coronavirus.

Call the Department of Health and Human Service’s dedicated hotline on 1800 675 398 if you develop symptoms, or have concerns about your health.

Please call us if you would like further information regarding CASACV services, or stay in the loop with CASACV conversations, advocacy and research via our CASACV Facebook page.
